Wondering what to wear, what to bring and where to go?

No! Come as you are!
If you have never done any ballet, or had a long break and want to get back to the basics again, our Ballet 1 class is perfect for you!
Our dance-related workshops are also suitable for anyone who loves moving.

If you are an adult who loves to dance and have an interest in being fit and healthy, then Ballet on Kloof is for you! We offer a safe space for adults to unwind, to find that mind and body connection, and to exercise in an uplifting environment.

No, we welcome men and women to join our classes.

We encourage you to work at your own pace. It’s a place to get fit. You don’t have to be fit to join in.

A bottle of water to stay hydrated. You will need a yoga mat for Body Conditioning, Yoga/Stretch, Ballet/Yoga Conditioning, and Ballet Fit.

And as always, leave your worries at the door.

Ballet on Kloof is an adult ballet and movement studio for women and men, 18 and up.  The oldest member we’ve ever had was 70 years old!

It is important that you feel comfortable!
Ballet: Leggings or tights, a leotard or top and ballet shoes are ideal. If you are just trying out a few classes, you are welcome to wear socks before buying ballet shoes.
Ballet/Yoga Conditioning, Yoga/Stretch: Gym wear and your own yoga mat.

Ballet on Kloof’s teachers are well-seasoned with years of experience as professional dancers, choreographers and qualified teachers in ballet, contemporary, and Ashtanga yoga.

There is plenty of parking available in Kloof Street, as well as the side streets such as Eaton Road, Weltevreden Street and Union Street.
There’s also a MyCiTi bus stop nearby.

Not at all. Rain or sun, light or dark, we are equipped to deal with load shedding.

The best way to experience a class is to join in.

To attend a class, you need to book ahead.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations or no shows on bookings will have the class deducted from your package.
Please note that packages are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-extendable.

We have a variety of options available (and no contracts that will lock you in). Whether you want to join us for one class, two classes a week or have unlimited access to all of our classes. We got you!
Please note that packages are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-extendable. Payment is via cash, EFT upfront or Snapscan.

We don’t have showers or lockers, but due to the small intimate group classes your belongings are always safe.
