Ballet on Kloof is based in the heart of Cape Town in the trendy Kloof street. Our classes happen in two venues on the same premises at the Union Congregational Church on the corner of Eaton and Kloof streets, next to Arnolds Cafe. That was the most fun I’ve had in ages. It was relaxed but also had a nice format. Seugnet, you are very positive and encouraging and I definitely want to take as many of your classes as possible. I can’t believe I didn’t join sooner – Bianca Cara Bernstein LOVED my first class! I felt like the pace was great and it was easy to follow instructions as they were clearly explained. The class was also a nice size which allows for individual attention. Ballet is a form of exercise that encourages and creates unison between the body and the brain. It trains the brain to take instruction, apply it to the body in the executing steps and with practice, the body becomes more skillful in doing ballet . Ballet can be used as a brain gym to sharpen concentration and memory – there is no way you can let your mind wonder in a ballet class as full concentration is needed throughout the class!
